Supporting Families and Children

Named after a devoted children’s activist, the Becky Johnson Community Center is located in the heart of downtown Redmond. Established in 2000, the facility is a partnership between Deschutes County, which owns the facility, and Deschutes Children’s Foundation, which manages the center. This location hosts ten resident programs serving over 4,000 children and families annually.

Located near St. Charles, East Bend Campus is home to eight nonprofit programs supporting Deschutes County children and families. East Bend Campus is Deschutes Children’s Foundation’s newest location, completed in 2009. An expanded nature playscape, a playground inspired by the natural world, was completed in 2016. East Bend Campus is our largest and busiest community campus with over 7,500 clients served in 2020.

Founded in 1990, Rosie Bareis Community Campus is Deschutes Children’s Foundation’s first location. This location comprises three buildings, six partners, a community meeting room, and the DCF administrative offices.
