About Deschutes Children’s Foundation

Deschutes Children’s Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to provide space and support where nonprofits succeed. By offering physical space at four campuses across Central Oregon, DCF enables collaboration among 23 on-campus nonprofit partners who serve children and families.

Each year, these partnerships positively impact more than 19,000 vulnerable children and families. By reducing overhead and operating costs, DCF allows partner organizations to focus resources on what matters most — serving the community.

Our community meeting room accommodates groups of up to 35 people, making it ideal for workshops, trainings, and community gatherings. The flexible setup includes tables and chairs that can be easily rearranged to suit your event’s needs.

    The goal for the Host Home Program is to temporarily provide a youth with a safe and supportive environment during the de-escalation period of a strained family situation. While in a Host Home, Youth will work closely with their case manager to repair the relationship with their guardians as well as working towards other personal goals.

    The Independent Living Program (ILP) is a federally funded program to assist current and former foster children achieve self-sufficiency, enabling a smoother transition as they age out of the system.
