Deschutes Children’s Foundation is committed to creating and maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for the nonprofit partners on our campuses and the children and families they serve. We intentionally cultivate trauma-informed, warm, and supportive spaces where people feel respected, valued, and able to seek services without fear of judgment or harm.
DCF staff and on-site Campus Advocates actively support daily interactions across our campuses, helping to model and reinforce a culture of care and belonging.
Clear expectations for respectful and nondiscriminatory behavior are communicated to staff, partner organizations, volunteers, and visitors, and reasonable accommodations are provided as needed to ensure accessibility.
Through these practices, DCF works to ensure our campuses remain free from offensive, hateful, and discriminatory content or actions while fostering an environment of collaboration, safety, and support.
