About Deschutes Children’s Foundation

Deschutes Children’s Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to provide space and support where nonprofits succeed. By offering physical space at four campuses across Central Oregon, DCF enables collaboration among 23 on-campus nonprofit partners who serve children and families.

Each year, these partnerships positively impact more than 19,000 vulnerable children and families. By reducing overhead and operating costs, DCF allows partner organizations to focus resources on what matters most — serving the community.

Meeting & Event Space in Bend

Our meeting room accommodates groups of up to 60 people, making it ideal for workshops, trainings, and community gatherings. The setup includes tables and chairs for flexible arrangements, and a small kitchen/lobby area is equipped for light refreshments. Please note that the Keurig on-site belongs to a Campus Partner and is not for community use.

    CASA of Central Oregon

    Recruits, trains and supports volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the court system. Volunteers work within the courts in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel, and community resources to ensure foster children transition into safe, permanent homes.

    Community Solutions

    SMART Reading

    SMART Reading is a children’s literacy nonprofit that serves kids in Oregon’s highest need schools and marginalized communities with two ingredients critical for literacy and learning success: shared reading time and books to keep. We mobilize volunteers to provide reading support and access to books for children from birth to 8th grade, helping to build confidence, literacy skills, and a love of reading.
